An eggless cookie dough recipe, perfect (and perfectly safe) to eat right from the bowl! Get ready to gobble it right up!
Remember when you were a kid, gleefully gobbling raw chocolate chip cookie dough right out of the mixing bowl and not thinking twice about it? Ah, the innocence of youth (and the joy of being an 80’s child!).
We know now that raw cookie dough isn’t always a safe bet (raw eggs and all). But I was feeling nostalgic recently and concocted a simple treat that rivals traditional cookie dough recipe.
Don’t rush to the store: you probably already have the four simple ingredients you need in your fridge and pantry.
You can scoop the final product into 5-6 little bite-sized balls and keep them in the fridge, or feel free to go crazy and eat it with a spoon all by yourself. It’s such a easy, dreamy treat. Feeling creative? Try adding any other mix-ins you’re craving (I’m thinking M&M’s, walnuts, peanut butter chips…the opportunities are endless).
Eggless Cookie Dough Ingredients:
- 1 Tbsp of peanut butter or other nut butter
- 2 Tbsp of almond milk (or try soy or coconut milk)
- 1 scoop of vanilla or peanut butter protein powder (I used the Tone it Up brand)
- 1-2 Tbsp bittersweet chocolate chips
Instructions (it’s SO easy):
Mix all ingredients in a small or medium bowl.
Stir a minute or two until mixture reaches a doughy consistency.
Voila! That’s IT!! Eat with a spoon right out of the bowl or roll into 5-6 balls and store in the refrigerator.
Let us know if you try it out! And if you want another yummy no-bake treat, how about these protein bites?
