Subscription boxes. They’ve certainly blown up over the past few years and there are more than just a few choices if you’re wanting to try them! From beauty bags to clothing boxes, food to books to treats for your pets, there are SO many! How do you figure out if they’re worth the price and if you’ll actually like them?

Easy, we’ll try them for you! (It’s a tough job, but someone’s got to do it.) As the editor of Splendry I’m working on having some of our contributors review several different boxes at the moment, but this one, I saved for me. :)

Rachel Zoe Box of Style Review

Rachel Zoe Box of Style review - Splendry

What it is: A quarterly box filled with five “stylish” items, from beauty products to jewelry, accessories, etc. with value at around $400+. There is one item in the box you get to customize in some fashion – have a choice between two items, choose the color you want, etc.)

What it costs: $99.99 a quarter or $349.99 if you pay annually. (As a new subscriber you can take $25 off with code SPRING25.)

What’s inside: Here’s what came in the spring box: (For a look at the winter box, you can read a review here.)

Rachel Zoe Box of Style review - spring box

1. Shiraleah Arden Tote (retails at $74)

A gorgeous bag for spring, this slouchy style is big enough to carry everything you need but still fits nicely under my arm. It’s a mix of vegan leather and suede and will definitely help me transition from winter to spring and beyond.

2. BaYou with Love Oval Chain Bracelet (retails at $195)

This is a classic piece of jewelry I’ll keep and wear forever. So perfect on it’s own but also will be great for stacking with other bracelets too. And at almost $200 I can guarantee you I wouldn’t have bought this on its own, but I’m so glad it’s there! :)

3. R + Co Waterfall Moisture + Shine Lotion (retails at $29)

I haven’t tried this brand before so I’m excited to see how it works with my hair. This is kind of a leave-in conditioner or can be used on dry hair too. Great for coming out of the winter months!

4. Erno Laszlo Hydraphel Skin Supplement (retails at $68)

A non-alcoholic toner that will hydrate and renew my skin. Sounds good to me!

5. Diff Eyewear Bella Sunglasses (retails at $85)

This was the item in the box you got to customize. There was a choice between black frames and tortoise so I went with the latter. I was not disappointed, they’re gorgeous! (I would have been happy with the black too, I’m sure!) As someone who only buys cheap sunglasses I now know what a more quality pair feels like and I’m afraid I’m moving that direction rapidly. These fit perfectly and are so comfortable. Love them!

The retail value of all five of these items is $451 which is pretty great. As a new subscriber you also get a free product, which for this quarter is a R + Co dry shampoo and scalp scrub worth another $70.

And that’s my Rachel Zoe Box of Style review! I was very happy with the winter box I tried and was equally as pleased with this spring box. Yes, the price of this box is higher than others (FabFitFun, PopSugar Must Have, etc.) but the product value really holds up. As someone who has tried many boxes over the years I feel like there’s always a product or two (or three) in a box you don’t really want/need but so far I’ve been happy with every item I’ve received.

Would I recommend? Yes. The sunglasses or bag alone are almost worth the price of the box and I would have bought either on their own.

How to get it: Head here and use code SPRING25 to take $25 off your first box (and also score that free gift!)
