We may have a case of the winter blues, because we need a vacation! A drink in our hand, the sun on our skin, adventure awaiting…It all sounds fabulous.
However, I have a confession: Every time I go on a trip, I always forget one little thing. It could be a bracelet I meant to pack, my toothpaste or my headphones, but it happens…and it is a common mishap.
In order to make sure travels go as planned, I suggest putting together a DIY travel kit. This kit can be stored in anything, and it can contain anything. All that matters is that we each have a go-to package with all our vacation essentials!
Need some help getting started? Here is what to do…
DIY Travel Kit
1. Find the perfect little kit.
It could be a makeup pouch that came free with a purchase, a plastic baggy or a container that you bought and decorated. You just need a kit for this kit!
2. Gather up the essentials.
Think about what you always need while traveling, and think about things that are often forgotten or misplaced…items such as:
- Bobby Pins
- Chapstick
- Pain Relievers
- Travel Toothpaste
- Pens
- Socks
3. Throw in some extra goodies.
After you have the basics taken care of, you can probably find some extra room for some fun supplies, like snacks and magazines.
4. Hit the road!
And that is it, folks. You have this cute little kit that can be thrown in your purse, that can live in your suitcase or that you can keep in your vehicle, making any vacation that much better.
