New to the world of Cricut? Me too! I am taking the plunge and checking out what this line of machines can do, with some great beginner Cricut projects to help me get started! Just like fashion or food, trends come in every genre of life. It’s no different in the crafting world which has seen one product seem to change arts & crafts time forever!
I’m talking about none other than the Cricut machine. And while I’m super late to the game (these have been around for years now), I decided a few months back that it might be time to finally see what all the fuss was about!
If you’re not familiar with the world of Cricut crafts, it’s basically a line of cutting machines that allows you to create your own amazing DIY projects. You can make personalized cards, artwork, home decor items, t-shirt designs, gifts; basically whatever you can dream up, you can create, print, and make right at home!
I know you can do cool things with Cricut machines and have been given gifts from friends who used their skills to create awesome personalized tumblers or holiday artwork, but honestly it seemed like a lot for me to want to jump in to!
I decided it was time to take the plunge. So, I got my mom a Cricut Joy machine and am going to let her figure it out for me. :) Just kidding, I told her it was a joint gift for us to figure out together because I think we’d both have fun creating with it.
While I haven’t even cracked the box yet, I think I’m almost ready! I know there’s a ton of potential fun to be had so I wanted to look up some beginner-friendly Cricut projects that might help us get started. Notice I said beginner-friendly, I want to ease my way into this with projects that will be quick and fun to create!
I found some good beginner Cricut projects that range from Christmas gift tags to personalized t-shirts and home decor. A little something for everyone. As I find more great project ideas I’ll keep adding them to the list! (Who doesn’t love an easy DIY project, right?)
