These 100 recipes using bananas will help you take those almost-black bananas and turn them into a tasty dish! Muffins, cakes, drinks, and more, what will you make?
My toddler loves bananas. And sometimes he likes to eat them.
One week he’s gobbling up a banana as fast as he can chew, and the next week he just wants to peel one and hold it for a while before leaving it somewhere on the floor to find. (I would rather step on a LEGO than a slimy mushy banana any day.)
It never fails. If I don’t have bananas, that’s all he’ll ask for. If I have them, he *might* be “on” bananas that day. The rest of the time I end up with bananas that are slowly fading to black waiting for me to do something with them or tossing them in the trash.
I ask you, who is more optimistic than when they save bananas to make banana bread? And how many times have I actually made banana bread with those bananas? Approximately once, if memory serves me.
This banana bread recipe is great, but I started thinking about other ways I could use up the bananas I currently have that my son won’t eat in the next few days. I hit the web to find 100, yes 100, recipes using bananas that aren’t your go-to banana bread.
I also sorted them by category so it’s easy to find what strikes your mood!
