Do you have a little one in your life for whom you would love to get a gift but aren’t sure where to start? Babies are hard because they don’t have a ton of opinions, but you don’t want to leave them out of the holiday fun! I’ve come up with some of the best gift ideas for babies under the age of one. These are some things my daughter and her friends loved and hopefully you can use these ideas for the babies in your life!
Twist and Fold Activity Gym
Most little babies get a kick out of this thing. They can touch the animals and look at themselves in the little mirror. They can even practice tummy time here if they want (or if their parents want…). Plus, it folds up so it doesn’t take up a ton of room, and you can put it up when you’re done!
Vulli Sophie la Girafe
I honestly don’t know why little babies love this thing but they do! You would think one teether would be the same as the next one, but babies seem to gravitate to this one more often than others! It’s pretty cute too, so that helps!!
Baby Touch and Feel: Puppies and Kittens
Most babies love books, especially my little one. She loves to “read” any book but really loves the touch and feel ones. This is one of her favorites, mainly because the dog looks like our dog, but you get the point. You cannot go wrong with books for babies, and it’s good for their development too!
Sit and Stand Learning Walker
I like this walker because they can use it for a variety of ages. When they are learning to sit they can still play. As they learn to walk, they can push it around so it will grow with them through the seasons!
Rock and Stack
This is another simple toy that I don’t really get why babies like it but they do! It’s simple and helps develop fine motor skills as they learn to take off and then put back on the rings.
Fisher-Price Laugh and Learn Click N Learn
My daughter actually thinks this is a cell phone and walks around the house holding it to her ear and talking on it, but regardless, it’s a fun little toy that won’t annoy the parents!
Melissa and Doug Deluxe Wooden ABC/123 Block Set
While most little ones won’t be able to build towers at a young age, they will enjoy watching you build a tower that they can knock down. When they can start building, it will help develop more of those fine motor skills.
Fisher-Price Laugh and Learn Smart Stages Home Play Set
My daughter got this last year from Christmas and still loves playing with it – mainly going through the door. It has different levels and new activities that you can adjust as your child grows.
Stuffed Animals
I would say any stuffed animal is a win, especially for little girls!
Manhattan Toy Skwish Classic Rattle and Teeth Grasping Activity Toy
This is one of those toys that you look at and you’re like “what in the world?” Babies must think that same thing too because they like playing this this thing. The beads rattle and the elastic allows this ball to become flexible and bend. Another great sensory development toy.
I hope this gives you some ideas for those babies in your life! Have fun shopping!!!
