Mascara Review: Urban Decay Perversion Mascara

Love this? Share it!

I feel like the hunt for the most perfect mascara is never ending. I have gone through a variety of brands, formulas, trips, tricks, ect., searching for the right combination of brush type, mascara consistency and a variety of other factors. BUT I’m happy to share with you one of the best mascaras that I’ve found so far!

It’s called Perversion by Urban Decay and it’s wonderful. It’s the perfect combination of brush, formula, wand…everything. Like a little black tube of magic.

But let’s run through how I put it on. Application is everything and while everyone has their way of doing, I’ll share mine just in case.

Step 1:

Curl lashes. Make sure to get the curlers to the base of your lashes. Don’t just curl the ends people.

Step 2:

I like to apply a light coat from a somewhat used up mascara first. This just helps separate and thickens my lashes. Plus, it gives me a framework for the next coat without creating a clumpy mess. It’s just like using an eye lash primer without buying another new something.

Step 3:

Apply a coat from your new tube of Perversion. It’s a little wet when applying so just be careful. No worries though, if you get a little crazy clean up is easy.

Step 4:

Apply another coat if you feel likes it’s necessary.

See the difference?

Some of the best things about this mascara: 1. Stays clump free 2. Doesn’t flake 3. Lashes stay flexible even with several coats on. No hard, stiff lashes here.
