Makeup tip time! And this might be the easiest makeup tip ever!

Makeup Tip:

Always start with eye makeup.

eye makeup tip

I try REALLY hard to wear tons of eye makeup every day because I’m working really hard on being a crazy old lady. Needless to say, so much shadow drops down under your eyes! Sneeze while you put on your mascara?? Worst. Funky liquid liner that needs some clean up? Yes. If you’ve already done foundation and under eye concealer, it’s GONE baby. So you end up reapplying concealer and/or not realizing you look like a rabid raccoon. I keep a little tiny bowl of coconut oil and q-tips for quick clean up of any eye mishaps. Make sure your skin is not oily when you apply your makeup over it. Bonus – moisturized eye area!

Wow. Simply powerful tip. Never realized this. The post is like showing a mirror to a mistake of so many years. Thanks a ton! My friends are going to love this too.

haha, great tip! I usually start with eyes first if I"m going to be wearing any makeup because I'm too lazy to do much else. :x Having to reapply sucks, and hooray for moisturizing! :P

That mascara sneeze is the worst! I've always done my concealer and foundation first followed by eyes. Then I saved my mascara for the very last. How did I not figure this out before? I just did ALL my eye makeup first and didn't have to clean up any smudges or mascara afterward! Brilliant!
