Let’s face it. Natural cosmetics haven’t always been that great. But the times they are a changin’ and we are lucky to reap the benefits! Au Naturale Cosmetics cut out all the chemical junk and deliver on high quality, high pigmented clean cosmetics and I am HERE for it.
It started with their multistick I received in one of my monthly beauty boxes. I kept reaching for it over and over because it gives me the perfect “lit from within” glow and is super easy and fast to use. It has a gorgeous peachy golden hue. Perfect for so many skin tones.
This is the su/Stain Matte Lip Stain in Marsala. I didn’t find this to be much of a stain, but more of a cross between a liquid lipstick and a standard cream lipstick.
It is such a perfect texture. Since matte lipsticks can suck the life out of your lips – vampire style -, this is a great alternative because it still delivers the intense color but keeps your lips feeling good and kissable!
Next up is their Lip Slick Tinted Lip Oil in Cassis. It has a slight purple tint, which I love to help make your pearly whites look even whiter! It is said to “nourish and shine”. I found that it did both beautifully.
Because it’s an oil and not a typical gloss, you don’t have to worry about a strong wind gluing your hair to your lips while walking to your car with your arms full of groceries. Can you tell this is a personal experience? I digress.
I did find that I had to apply this more often than a typical gloss, but it was worth it because my lips are so soft, plump, and hydrated. It does the work of a balm while adding shine and a touch of color. Lip oils are making a major move right now and this one is definitely worth a try!
