My Frozen Food Favorites

Love this? Share it!

I’m the first to admit that I’m not the world’s best cook, and while I sometimes like the idea of taking on Julia Child’s Mastering the Art of French Cooking, realistically, it’s not going to happen anytime soon. Now I can throw some (easy) meals together, but let’s be honest, there are a lot of things I’d rather be doing sometimes! And on those occasions when I’m low on time or energy and just need something really quick and easy, frozen foods have come to my rescue! If you’re totally against frozen food just go ahead and skip this post! If you’re not opposed, read on for my favorite frozen foods:

1. Stouffer’s Lasagna

I’ve made this about a million times over the years and honestly, it’s my favorite lasagna, ever. I’ve had many other homemade and restaurant versions and this is still my all-time favorite! It comes in several sizes too, so whether I’m feeding extended family, or just my husband and I, it works!

2. Stouffer’s Skillets for Two Grilled Chicken and Vegetables

I promise, this isn’t an ad for Stouffer’s! When we first got married this became a weekly staple for us. And this is still something we keep on hand for those nights we’re both too tired to do much more than pour this in a skillet and heat it up!

3. Amy’s Organic Bean and Cheese Burritos

Amy’s makes lots of frozen items, but these burritos are my favorites! I always keep a couple in the freezer and they are delicious!

4. Pilgrim’s Crispy Chicken Strips

It’s acceptable for a home without children to have chicken strips in the freezer, right? I’m just going to go ahead and say yes…  Anyway, these are great and go well with (frozen) french fries or (microwaved) baked potatoes. (If you only have time for frozen chicken strips, you probably only have time for frozen and microwaved potatoes!)

5. Tyson Grilled and Ready Frozen Chicken Strips

We add this chicken to pasta, burritos, quesadillas, whatever. Super quick!

6. Green Giant Steamers Broccoli and Cheese Sauce

We had broccoli with cheese most Sunday dinners at my grandparent’s house growing up and I still love it as a side dish!

7. Lean Cuisine Philly Style Steak and Cheese Panini

Need lunch in less than 3 minutes? Done! I used to keep these at work for lunches at my desk, and I still enjoy them now!

8. DiGiorno Pizza

We tend to stick to their Supreme Original Rising Crust, but I just tried their Thin & Crispy Garden Vegetable and loved it too!
