I love Paris.
LOVE Paris. I’ve visited this beautiful city four times now and every time I return I feel a stronger pull to return. When I stumbled upon Paris in Love at a library book sale last summer I tossed it in my bag and it was soon tucked away on the bookshelf. I picked it up recently and couldn’t put it down!
Author Eloisa James sold her house, took a sabbatical and moved with her husband and two children to Paris for a year. Paris in Love shares their adjustment to Parisian life, including navigating school, language, getting a good haircut, and regular family life. The book reads at times like a diary, with entries detailing daily tasks, conversations, and where and what the author ate (a very important part of living in Paris!).
This book should come with a warning though, should you love Paris and dream of packing of your life for a new one in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower, this book will make you believe it is, in fact, possible. (Not to mention, magical and necessary.)
This book was published several years ago, but the story remains true today. Paris is the city of love, and Paris in Love will make you a believer.

I really loved it! I think it will be fun to re-read too, especially before I go back to Paris one day!
