Four Treats to Make Your Dog’s Day

Love this? Share it!

“I work hard to provide a good life for my dogs.” I saw a painted wood sign at a home décor store that said this, and I thought- that sounds about right. When one or more of your family members has four paws, you have to look out for them. The dog toy and supply industry is huge, and most pet parents will tell you that it is very easy to spend a lot of money on your pooch.

These four fun treats will definitely make your dog's day!

When I first got my dogs, I loved buying the new and cute items I’d see. But after a few years, I know what my dogs like and what has made my life easier.

Here are four of my favorite treats for my dogs.

Wild and Wooley Treats

The first thing I always recommend to people, especially those with heavy chewers, is deer and elk antlers. They are natural, unlike some of the rawhide chews that can upset your dog’s stomach. They last a long time. They have no scent (also no terrible stink that some bones have).

Over the past few years, I’ve placed at least a half dozen orders with Wild and Wooley Treats. I get them for my dogs and give them as gifts. Delivery is speedy, quality is great, and they come wrapped up in cute dog fabrics.

Snuggler Pet Beds

My small dog has thin fur and is always drawn to the softest seat and warmest spot in the house. He has confiscated all of my blankets in the past- until I got a snuggler-style pet bed.

The soft inner fabric keeps my dog warm, and the sides come up to snuggle against him. He loves sitting in it, and for a few moments, I get to use my own blankets.

Mallard Duck Plush Dog Toy

I have a pretty firm rule in my house that I do not allow toys whose noises annoy me. I like these types of plush animals who don’t have a normal squeak, but instead a more realistic honk. It also keeps the attention of my big dog much more!

Furminator

Treat for the dog? Yes! My dogs get so excited when I take out their Furminator. They try to nudge each other out of the way so they can get some brushes in. In case you’re not familiar with it, this is a great dog brush. I have two dogs that shed a lot, and this makes a huge difference. It is expensive, but I was able to find an older generation of the product on Amazon, and it cost about half as much. But regardless, if you have a shedder, it is worth it. And your puppies will love when it is time to be brushed.

Our dogs make our lives better everyday, and with these treats, you can make every day their best day ever!
