Party Favorite Cream Cheese Sausage Balls

Easy and delicious Cream Cheese Sausage Balls made with only four ingredients! A perfect party food your crowd will love!A few tips before you get started:

  • You could easily spice these sausage balls up with a dash of red pepper or by adding spicy hot sausage. It’s your call!
  • You may want to spray your foil with cooking spray or use a non-stick foil before baking if you find your sausage balls are sticking to the pan.
  • Did you run out of Bisquick baking mix? I’ve used flour before as a substitute and had really good results!
  • Want to try a sharp cheddar cheese, or even mozzarella? Go for it!
  • Serve them right out of the oven or let them sit to room temperature, either way they’ll be eaten right up!
  • You don’t need a dipping sauce to enjoy this delicious appetizer, but if you want one, try honey mustard or ketchup.
  • While it’s unlikely you’ll have leftover sausage balls, if you do, we have some yummy sausage ball recipes to help you try them in new ways! Who knew an easy appetizer like Bisquick sausage balls was so versatile??

Sausage Ball Ingredients:

Party Favorite Cream Cheese Sausage Balls Ingredients

  • 1 lb of sausage (raw)
  • 1 8 oz. block of cream cheese
  • 1 Cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 Cup of Bisquick baking mix

1. Pre-heat oven to 375 F.

2. Take the sausage and cream cheese and add to a large mixing bowl. I like to place them in the microwave for 30 second to heat them up slightly so its not quite so cold when I mix the ingredients with my hands.

3.  Add the Bisquick mix and cheddar cheese to the sausage and cream cheese.

4. Now it’s time to get your hands dirty and mix all the ingredients until combined in a large ball.

5. Take about 1 tablespoon size of the sausage ball mixture (I really just eye ball this) and roll out into the small balls and place on a pan or cookie sheet covered in foil or parchment paper. (1-inch balls will cook a little faster than larger!)

6. Put into your preheated oven and cook sausage balls for 10-15 until your sausage cheese balls are cooked through. They should reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees and look golden brown.

7. Serve and enjoy your perfect appetizer! I hope you enjoy these as much as I do!
