One of my favorite go-to recipes for a group dinner is to make pulled pork. It is great because it makes a lot of food but is incredibly easy to make. Plus it’s wonderful by itself or served on buns for sandwiches.

This pulled pork recipe has such great flavor, thanks to a few simple ingredients, and it is sure to be a crowd-pleaser. This easy recipe is sure to become one of your go-tos for potluck dinners, holiday meals, and even just a weeknight!

Best Pulled Pork Recipe Ingredients
  • 1 pork shoulder (it will be wrapped in a netting)
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp of BBQ seasoning
  • 1 tsp of liquid smoke
Steps

1. Cut the pork shoulder out of the netting and cut it into two or three pieces and place in the crock pot.

2. Pour 1 cup of water over the pork.

3. Take all the spices and liquid smoke and cover generously. You can use more if you desire.

4. Cook on high for 6 to 7 hours or until the pork falls apart and shreds easily.

5. Drain most of the juices from the crock pot and keep it in a separate container. You will use the juices to keep the shredded pork moist so occasionally pour some over the shredded pork.
