I love when you enjoy a book by a new-to-you author and then find out that they’ve written MORE books. That’s exactly how I felt when I read my first Jojo Moyes book a few years ago. Really all you have to do to get me to read a book is set it in England but these books have the added bonus of being good. The writing is warm and witty, with enough quirkiness to keep it from feeling too cliché. Although I enjoy a heavy literary work of staggering brilliance from time to time I read mainly for enjoyment and escape and Moyes more than fits the bill.
What authors can you always count on when you’re looking for a good read?
