I’ve always loved Valentine’s Day. When I was a kid it was all about making creative boxes for class parties, by middle school it was about sending and receiving balloons and candy to my friends, and by high school there was the giddy anticipation of getting a surprise from a secret admirer. That never happened, mind you, but the possibilities were fun to think about!

As an adult I still love celebrating. I used to help out a local florist with flower deliveries on this hectic day and loved being able to surprise people with tokens of love from friends and family. One thing I haven’t ever done? Actually decorate for Valentine’s Day!

Enter this most adorable (and easy) Valentine’s Day craft, a cute “Love You to Pieces” DIY Valentine wreath made from a dollar store puzzle and some craft supplies. Easy AND cheap, the best kind of craft project! Here’s what you need to make one for yourself:

How to Make Your DIY Valentine’s Day Wreath

Step 1

Step 2

Download your heart wreath pattern here. Print it and cut it out. Then trace it onto your cardboard piece. Cutting on the outside with scissors and inside with a craft knife (on top of a mat) works great.
