Subscription boxes are everywhere these days and I definitely jumped on the band wagon. I just shared with you how to get started on your own box journey, and today I’m sharing the boxes I’ve tried and the ones I’ve loved!Subscription Box Favorites

Beauty

Tried: Birchbox ($10/month), Ipsy ($10/month), Walmart Beauty Box ($5/quarterly), Target Beauty Box ($7/one time), Allure Sample Society Box ($15/month), Julep Maven ($19.99/month),

Stuck with: Ipsy, Walmart, Target

I know Birchbox is considered one of the “Founding Fathers” of beauty boxes, but I am in love with my Ipsy bags. (Check out all my reviews here.) You get a new makeup bag along with 5+ cosmetic items every month. You receive a lot of full-size items every month and I haven’t been disappointed in a bag yet! I also will keep up with the Walmart and Target boxes just because they’re pretty cheap and only come a few times a year. (You can read reviews for those, here and here.)

Others worth mentioning: Glossybox, Blush Mystery Beauty Box, Beauty Army, Vegan Cuts Beauty Box, e.l.f. Beauty Bundle

Clothing

Tried: Le Tote ($49.99/month), Lend Perk ($20/month), Stitch Fix ($20/month), CoutureSqd (now closed)

Stuck with: Le Tote (occasional)

Billed as the Netflix of clothing, Le Tote basically rents you clothing and accessories on a monthly basis. You can keep each box as long as you’d like and then return for another box. You’ve also got the option to purchase clothing from your boxes (which I did several times.) You have the option to put your account on hold for 3 or 6 month periods and I’ve done that a few times. (You can also see my reviews here.) Don’t rule out Stitch Fix either. You can see my review here.

Others worth mentioning: Golden Tote, Fabletics (workout clothing), Elizabeth & Clarke

Shoes

Tried: ShoeDazzle ($9.95/month VIP membership), JustFab (39.95/month, can skip)

Stuck with: JustFab (occasional)

I’ve kept up my JustFab subscription, though I usually skip most months. One thing to note – you do have to go in every month and skip or else you’re charged the $39.95 and a credit is added to your account. If you’re on top of things and remember to skip, you only pay the months you want to buy shoes. They also have a great introductory offer, when I first signed up I got two pair for $39.95!

One thing to say about ShoeDazzle, while they’ve got cute shoes, I had a really hard time cancelling. I had to make three phone calls to get them to finally stop charging me!

Others worth mentioning: ShoeMint

A Little Bit of Everything

Tried: Coco Rocha Fancy Box ($39.99/month + shipping), French Box ($24/month), Mystery Envelope ($4.99/month)

Stuck With: Coco Rocha Fancy Box, French Box  **Update – Fancy has cancelled the Coco Rocha box as of 12/29/14**

I love getting the CR Fancy Box in the mail, it’s usually a great mixture of products. I’ve received home decor, clothing, accessories, cosmetics, books, really a little bit of everything, and I really look forward to it every month! (See my reviews here.) You can earn great referrals on this box too so I can definitely save on it every month. I also signed up for the new French Box (now on it’s third month) and have enjoyed getting a mixture of items with a French spin! (See those reviews here.)

Others Worth Mentioning: POPSUGAR Must Have, FabFitFun VIP Box, Nina Garcia
