If I had to pick one beauty product I put on every day without fail? It’s got to be this $2 e.l.f. Shadow Lock Eyelid Primer! (Yes, I still like bareMinerals Prime Time Primer, but this was just so much cheaper and works so well that I just haven’t looked back!)

I LOVE this primer. LOVE. It goes on sheer, it almost feels like a light lotion when applied and it completely absorbs- no greasiness or caking.

With the bareMinerals primer, it was much creamier and several people I know said it made their eyes feel a little cake-y and dry. Definitely not the case with the e.l.f. Shadow Lock Eyelid Primer.

It works AMAZINGLY well (It keeps eye makeup looking great with no mascara creasing or smudging!), and did I mention it sells for $2? e.l.f. wins again, folks! You can buy e.l.f. online, or at most drugstores and supermarkets like Walmart or Target

Not sure you even need an eyelid primer? Check out this post to see the difference it can really make in your eye makeup. From keeping mascara creases away to giving your eyeshadow more color saturation, it’s a must in my makeup bag.
