Have you guys taken the time out to try this hidden gem? If not, I don’t know what you’re waiting for! When it comes to concealers, I’ve always had a hard time picking the right one for me. I have pretty dark circles so having a concealer that looks good under the eyes without looking cakey is a must. Whether it wasn’t enough coverage, creased too much, or made my undereyes look super dry, I was never satisfied.
That all changed one afternoon in my favorite Sephora when I stumbled across the new NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealers. Retailing for $30 I was a little taken aback by the price, but at this point I was desperate for something that worked. I tried the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer that everyone seems to be obsessed with, but I wasn’t a huge fan and couldn’t see myself repurchasing it.
I decided to take the plunge and get the soft matte concealer and I’m so glad I did. As soon as I got home, I washed off whatever makeup I had left on my face and decided to give this new beauty find a go.
I tried the concealer two different ways: with a brush and with a beauty blender. Both tools applied the product beautifully but I loved how flawless my under eye looked when it was applied with a brush. There was no cakey-ness, no creasing, and my under eye almost looked airbrushed.
The product also blends extremely well! I would have no problem wearing this concealer alone without any foundation because It literally melts into the skin! The concealer stayed in place all day not smudging one bit and it even stuck with me through my intense yoga class.
So here’s the breakdown:
Concealer Pros
- Full coverage
- Long wearing
- Great color selection
- Doesn’t crease
- Blendable
Concealer Cons
- Pricey
If you’re like me and you’re always on the hunt for the perfect concealer, definitely give this one a go!
