A clothing subscription for women with no up-front fees? Sign me up!
Actually, I did sign up, and I wanted to share with you a little about the Nadine West subscription!
What you need to know:
- It’s free to try- there’s no styling fee or monthly subscription. They mail you items (usually one top and two pieces of jewelry) and you have ten days to try it. You’re only charged for the items you keep. (You do have to sign up with a credit card, but again, you’re only charged if you decide to keep an item.)
- They only offer shirts and jewelry right now.
- They’ve got a quick profile you can fill out where you select the styles you like.
- They’re still pretty new, so I imagine there are a few kinks to work out. But, hey, it’s free to try, right?
My first package:
Glittering Braid Necklace ($24.99)
Not really my style, so this is headed back in the bag.
Just Chime In! Gold Earrings ($11.99)
I think these are fun, but they’re a little bigger than what I’d typically wear. Here’s another photo for size comparison:
Romance for Sheer! Black Top ($21.49)
The back detail:
A pretty simple black long sleeve shirt. I do like the back draping detail (I’ve also got a black tank on underneath). It’s really comfortable and I’ve actually been needing to replace my plain long sleeve black tee for awhile now. Perhaps this is a sign? I’ve still got a few more days to think about it, so we’ll see!
The verdict: I’d definitely try Nadine West again. I wasn’t really in love with any of these items, but it also didn’t put me out any money or effort really to try! All I have to do with the items I don’t want is put them back in the envelope and use the return label they included to mail back. I can also give them feedback on the items to help them find better picks for me. Overall, a good experience and one I’ll be trying again! Want to try it for yourself? Go here!
